Balanced keeps resolution and caps frame rate at 30 fps. More detail keeps the original frame rate with a gentler size target; Small file also caps resolution at 720p. Compression is lossy. Already efficient clips may not shrink; only smaller exports are offered for download.

The software engine downloads only when you start compression, then runs entirely on your device. It can take several minutes. Your video is not uploaded and no server fallback is used.
