How Editbop handles local media processing, website requests and support messages.

Your images, videos and audio
Choosing a file lets your browser read and process it on your device. Editbop does not upload your selected media, filenames, previews or processing results. We cannot see or recover those files. Keep your originals and save any results you want to keep.
Processing uses temporary memory, workers and temporary browser URLs. These are released when you clear the files or close the page. The application does not save selected media in cookies, local storage, IndexedDB or a server database. Downloads that you save remain on your device until you delete them.
Requests needed to load the website
Cloudflare Pages delivers the website. Loading a page, a public sample or a processing library sends ordinary connection information to Cloudflare, including your IP address, requested URL and browser request headers. The selected media and its filename are not included in these requests.
AI models and video/image engines download from this website when needed and run locally. Your browser may cache these public application assets. Standard image enlargement does not require an AI model. The optional extra-enhancement step does.
We use hosting to deliver and protect the website. Our lawful basis for the associated connection information is legitimate interests in operating a reliable, secure service. Cloudflare also handles information for its own service and security purposes as explained in its privacy policy. We do not operate an additional visitor-log database. Cloudflare Web Analytics is enabled to measure site usage and performance; its script sends visit and performance information to Cloudflare. See Cloudflare Web Analytics for how this service works.
Support email
If you email us, Google Gmail receives your email address, message, email headers and any attachments you choose to send. We use that information to answer your request, investigate a problem and manage related follow-up. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests in providing support and addressing complaints. We do not use support messages for marketing.
We keep support messages while handling your request and any necessary follow-up, then delete them when they are no longer needed. We may retain relevant messages longer where necessary to meet legal obligations or resolve disputes.
The report helper prepares text on your device. Copying uses your clipboard; downloading saves a text file; the email button opens your email application. Sending is your choice. The helper does not upload a report or attach your media. Please do not send private photos, identity documents or confidential recordings.
Providers and international processing
Cloudflare and Google operate internationally, so connection information and support correspondence may be handled outside the UK, including in the United States. Their policies describe their processing, retention practices and transfer safeguards: Cloudflare and Google. Provider-controlled security records and backups may follow different retention periods from the support inbox. We do not promise that all provider records are deleted when an email is deleted.
Your choices and rights
You do not need to create an account or send us an email to use the tools. You can cancel processing, clear files, close the page and remove stored theme preferences through your browser settings. We do not use your media for profiling or automated decisions about you.
Depending on applicable law and the circumstances, you may request access to, correction or deletion of personal information we hold, restrict its use, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. Data portability applies where its legal conditions are met. Contact [email protected] for a request or complaint; please provide enough information to identify the correspondence involved without sending unnecessary identity documents.
You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office, or your local data protection authority where applicable. These rights do not give us access to media that never left your device.
Optional advertising
Editbop uses Adsterra banner advertisements to support the site. No Adsterra script loads until you choose “Allow ads” in the privacy prompt shown when you enter the site. Declining does not restrict any tool. Use “Privacy preferences” in the corner, or “Ad preferences” below a banner, to withdraw your choice. The page reloads to stop the previously loaded advertising code. Your choice lasts for this browser tab's session; clearing site data also resets it.
When you allow ads, your browser connects to Adsterra's delivery domain, bauval.org, and may connect to its advertising partners. Those requests disclose connection information such as your IP address and browser information. Advertising technology may use cookies or similar identifiers for delivery, measurement, fraud prevention and personalised advertising. Editbop does not pass your selected media, filenames or processing results to the advertisement.
Adsterra code runs directly on the page and creates its own advertisement. This does not make advertising anonymous. Adsterra and its partners may process information internationally and apply their own retention periods. See Adsterra's privacy policy and cookie policy. Contact us for privacy questions; you may also contact the provider to exercise rights over data it holds.
We request consent before enabling this optional advertising. Withdrawing reloads the page and stops further advertising requests from that document; it does not undo earlier processing or delete third-party records or cookies. Browser privacy controls can clear stored site data. Advertiser destinations have their own policies.
Google AdSense account verification remains on the site, but this release does not load Google ads. AdSense advertising would require its own applicable consent configuration before activation.
Preferences and changes
The application remembers your chosen theme using editbop-theme in local storage and your advertising choice using editbop-ad-consent-v1 in session storage. See cookies and storage. Cloudflare security features may use security cookies to protect the service. We will update this notice when our data uses change.
